Editable Bodice Block Bundle – 10 Kimono, Batwing and Bodice Blocks
Develop your own woven garment designs with this editable bodice block bundle in sizes XS–6XL. Includes 10 easy-fitting bodice, kimono, batwing and sleeve blocks, combining darted and dartless foundations for tops, blouses, dresses, tunics, shirts and vests.
The A4, US Letter and A0 PDFs are both printable and editable in Adobe Illustrator. A separate locked projector file and size chart are also included.

Pattern Blocks for Your Own Designs
These are professional pattern blocks (slopers): base templates for developing original garments. Use their existing shapes after adding seam allowances, or modify necklines, lengths, darts, sleeves and proportions to create your own designs.
These are not step-by-step sewing patterns. Sewing instructions and seam allowances are not included. Pattern-making and garment-construction knowledge is required.

- US Letter PDF: for home printing and editing in Adobe Illustrator.
- A0 PDF: for copy-shop printing and editing in Adobe Illustrator.
- Projector PDF: a separate locked file for sewing projector use.

The editable patterns are supplied as unlocked PDF files that open in Adobe Illustrator. Adobe Illustrator software is required for editing and is not included in this purchase.
The projector file is locked against editing and printing. All pattern pieces are also included in the editable A4, US Letter and A0 files.

How to Use the Editable Files
- Download the files to your PC or Mac.
- In Adobe Illustrator, choose File → Open and select an A4, US Letter or A0 PDF.
- Select the block and size you want to work with.
- Make your design alterations and add seam allowances.
- Reposition the pieces within the print frames as needed.
- Check the scale and layout before printing.

Choose your size using the body-measurement chart rather than your usual ready-to-wear size. We recommend making a toile (test garment) to check the fit and your design alterations before cutting the final fabric.
Recommended Fabrics
These blocks are designed for woven, non-stretch fabrics. Suitable choices include cotton, linen, poplin, chambray, chiffon, crepe, satin, lightweight denim and lightweight wool.
Lightweight to medium-weight fabrics work best. The blocks are not drafted for knitted or stretch fabrics.
Important Information
- Seam allowances are not included. Add them after completing your design alterations.
- Sewing instructions are not included.
- Adobe Illustrator is required for editing; software is not included.
- Adobe Acrobat Reader can be used for printing, but not for editing pattern lines and shapes.
- Open and edit the files on a desktop or laptop computer.
- Print at 100% / Actual Size and check the test square before printing the complete pattern.
- English only: all files and supporting information are in English.
